Here at Mountain Minimalist (hereinafter refferd to as “Mountain Minimalist”, “we” or “us”) data is processed conform with the Belgian Privacy legislation and subsequent General Data Protection Regulation. For us it is very important that our clients and users of our services and website are wel informed about what happens with their personal data and how they can stay in control. Personal Data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, while if you want our website can be visited without providing any personal data.

 

WHICH DATA DO WE COL­LECT & PROCESS

First of all there is data that is automatically send by your browser to us for technical reasons, this data can contain the following information: Which browser you are using, which type of terminal and internet connection, what time & date you accessed the website, and thename of the used operating system. From this data we cannot make any conclusions about your identity and it is solemn used to provide & analyse our service.

The personal data that can be collected is disclosed by you voluntarily on our website (e.g. if you subscribe to our newsletter, make a purchase order, fill in a contact form or set up an customer account). This data could be your first name, last name, company name, e-mail adress, username & password, invoice adress, telephone number. When you write a review on one of our products your review will be published anonymously or under the name you entered in the provided form.

 

WHY DO WE USE YOUR PER­SONAL DATA

We collect your personal data to ensure the best user experience while using our services (e.g. if you subscribe to our newsletter, make a purchase order, fill in a contact form or set up an customer account). We also use pseudonymized user profiles for the purposes of advertising, market research and to design the website to meet your needs.

 

SHARE YOUR PER­SONAL DATA WITH THIRD PAR­TIES

We do not sell or rent your data at any time to third parties that are not part of Mountain Minimalist. However, it is possible that we have to share information at the request of third parties. For example: calling in legal support and sharing personal data for review, using debt collection services from a third party, sharing data for insurance policies regarding a project, etc.

 

PROTECTION AND STORAGE

Mountain Minimalist neatly stores your personal data in secure databases. Passwords are enforced by default, and before anyone can consult data and even then not all data is accessible to everyone within Mountain Minimalist. Only the data that is necessary for our employees to be able to provide the requested services are actively used. Multiple policies are in force to protect data from leaks. In addition, all our employees are proactively alerted to their duties to handle data correctly and are aware of the provisions in the GDPR legislation
